Tournaments for CS:GO! Empty Tournaments for CS:GO!

Hey Phantoms, I found a Counter Strike: GO tourney we could join as a team. I know we only have six active CS:GO players, AND two of them (Zodiac + Cyanide) are out of Europe, but I think we can finally get into some real competition. If we need to go to an offline event, I'll be able to make it and I have two others who are willing alternates (both are GN1). I've been improving my game, and I've been thinking about roles. My IDEAS are as follows:

  • Thunder(?)
  • DHG - Rifler/Lurker

Here's the Link to the Tournament I'm thinking we should try: https://www.faceit.com/tournaments/d5d6d786-6261-43ee-afa5-5e8cb9d4c235

I hope we can make this work!

Could you post a link to the Tournament. I am interested. However, I believe a tournament would have higher ranking players. Than gn1 to mge.

But We can do it for the heck of it, right?

Actually, I've looked at plenty of the FaceIt tournaments, and most of the people playing are amateurs. I played for another team in the PGL US Open Qualifiers, and even the people there could be beaten by some of us. Most of the rest should be fairly easy, to my understanding.

The fact of the matter is that no one here is going to randomly join a tourney or team without some sort of actual organization being shown.  Your enthusiasm is noted, but you have to put effort forward by doing things like actually talking to players you want, talking to admins about getting support (we don't like the Phantoms name being used freely in the event of issues that could affect our reputation), and establishing some sort of schedule/training for the team members.
