Fire's AW Updates
I know it's been a while since we have done anything regarding AW and I figured I would put something up so those who still do/want to play can get an idea of what the state of AW is:
-Fire
- PVE is still very dominant, it sucks for those who like PVP.
- PVP seems to be pretty much restricted to tiers III-VI. This is supposed due to balance issues with MBTs being too dominant above tier VI.
- There are now daily challenges for PVP/PVE that reward loot crates with "insignia" that boost things like commander XP, global rep, credits, .etc.
- PVP is pretty much only 8v8 due to low pop count (although I haven't tried too hard to get lower tier matches).
- PVP doesn't exist for tiers I and II, so be prepared to use PVE to get to tier III.
- AW has its first competitive mode coming out in 0.17, more info to come as it becomes available (it doesn't look like a tier VIII or X only mode rumor mill is saying there will be a tier IV version)
- Sounds have gotten significantly better as well as shot delay seems to be disappearing.
- Tier X vehicles are in the game for the first two dealers (the Chinese one only goes to tier VII)

Glad to hear you still have it installed. Things are about to get more competitive there due to a new mini-tournament called Lords of War. I think it will make PvP more viable for those whom haven't zoomed up to the top tiers yet. I think we could have fun and do well if we can find enough Phantoms to put a team together. Things at work are starting to slow down a bit so I'd have fun playing with a POTA team.
