Community Mentor Program Revival
Hey all,
The Phantoms are proud to announce the revival of the mentor program! The mentors are groups of veteran members who are willing to take the time to interact and play with trainees in their divisions and to try and ensure they complete the trainee period successfully.
What do mentors do?
Mentors, after being assigned a trainee, will attempt to get in contact with and group up with their trainee and other members in order to have the trainee meet new members and see if the Phantoms is the right group for them. They are responsible for ensuring trainees read and understand the rules of the community, especially those related to activity standards. Mentors will also be asked to provide input on whether a trainee should become a member if their activity is questioned by a mod staff member.
What benefits do mentors get?
As a mentor, you will receive the following:
I know these "benefits" aren't really special and I won't pretend they are. This role is for people who, like our mod staff, are trying to help this community grown and maintain members.
How do I sign up?
If you are willing to help us out as a mentor you need to meet the following requirements:
If you are interested in becoming a mentor, please send a private message on the forum to the mod staff explaining how you can meet the above requirements and the games you would like to be a mentor for. Please feel free to contact a member of mod staff with any questions or reply to this topic.
