Town Hall Meeting #3
All,
The Phantoms will be having a town hall meeting on June 23rd, 2018 at 1800 UTC! During this meeting we will go over the results of our staff meeting, go over ideas/concerns with the community, ask all of you for feedback on these items, and ask for ideas, questions, and concerns!
This meeting will be held in a locked channel and you will have to message a member of staff for access to the channel. The following rules will be in-place for the staff meeting:
- Questions may be posed at any time by using the #town_hall text channel
- Members will be asked to have their mics quiet until they are asked for feedback or their question is acknowledged
- During the request for feedback section, please refrain from bringing up issues with other members or staff members. These need to be brought up with mod staff via DMs.
This is your chance to get involved with the direction of the community! We hope to see you there!

Good afternoon everyone. I would like to share our notes from this Town Hall. We discussed the potential of Xbox One players joining the community. If we ever do get any Xbox One players on War Thunder then they will not be able to play with our Playstation 4 players. This is a policy by Sony. So make sure to not exclude Xbox One players. They must be treated equally to our Playstation players and squadrons must be split if possible to allow everyone to play.
We also talked about nickname standards. None of the people in the town hall had an inappropriate nickname, but to remind everyone please make sure your name is reasonable. See Rule #9 in our rules_and_info for details.
Another issue was the creation of new divisions. Currently we are a War Thunder discord, but we have had other games supported in the past and may in the future. In order to start a division there must be five active members who play this game and the leader of the division must be an active member of the community who has been in the community for some time.
